Mold Inspection Services

Mold evaluation and testing is a science and should not be performed by anyone with little or no training or field experience. Online training and a certificate that you completed the 1 or 2 hour course does not provide you with the credentials to be a Professional Mold Evaluator or a Qualified Mold Sampler. Please keep in mind that sampling for mold is a small part of the bigger picture in the science of mold. Testing has it place and should not be depended upon as the determination factor that there is a Mold Issue.

Mold Assessment

A mold inspection or mold assessment is the first and most important tool in detecting mold issues or conditions, such as previous or current moisture issues, that could lead to visible and/or hidden mold growth. Many times, there are water intrusion issues occurring that are hidden from view and in many cases may only be detected with special equipment. Mid Missouri Mold Inspection Services can provide a complete visual inspection of the premises or a limited area, which is a concern to our client. Evaluation with moisture testing equipment and other advanced equipment in the form of Inferred Technology to determine if there are conditions that could be leading to microbial growth.

Radon Testing

RADON is a Cancer-causing, radioactive gas: This is the Information that is given to the General Public in the United States.

You cannot see radon. And you cannot smell it or taste it. But there may be a problem beneath the home you are purchasing or even if you have lived there for some time. That is, because when you breathe air containing Radon that’s above the EPA’s recommended limit, you increase your risk of getting lung cancer. In fact, the Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today. If you smoke and your home has high radon levels, your risk of lung cancer is especially high.
  • We do not perform any type of mold repairs, (remediation) which eliminates any conflict of interest.
  • We use state-of-the-art moisture detection equipment that can “Detect” moisture into virtually any building material, giving us a complete picture of any potential problem.
  • We use a 3rd party (EMSL) accredited microbiology laboratory for the analysis of all samples. This is the best method of obtaining the highest accuracy compared to other companies that offer "on the spot" analysis (by less qualified individuals).
  • Our turn around is fast and we typically will provide you with the analysis within 2-3 business days. This way you will quickly know the type of all mold/fungal concentration within your indoor living or working environment.
  • The most important objective for us, if a contamination is found, is to Recommend Solutions for Repairs and to LOCATE AS POSSIBLE THE MOISTURE SOURCE. We are there to help solve your potential indoor air quality problems.
